Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
1. What this covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information TapNVisit (operated by NVTEQ [REGISTERED ENTITY AND ADDRESS TO BE CONFIRMED]) collects when you use our website and digital vCard platform, and how it's used.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text).
- vCard content: whatever you choose to add to your card — photos, occupation, description, services, products, gallery items, testimonials, business hours, social links, and UPI/payment details if you enable that feature.
- Visitor interactions: if someone submits an enquiry or books an appointment through your public vCard, we store the details they provide so you can respond to them.
- Payment information: we do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay, and we retain only the transaction record (amount, status, date) needed for your billing history.
3. How we use it
To create and operate your account and vCard, process payments, send account-related notifications (renewal reminders, password resets, activity on your card), and respond to support requests. We don't sell your personal information.
4. Third parties we use
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Google Translate — the optional language-translation widget on public vCards, provided directly by Google.
- Instagram — if you embed Instagram posts on your vCard, those load directly from Instagram/Meta.
Each of these third parties has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes directly.
5. Your public vCard
Content you add to your vCard is, by design, visible to anyone who has the link — that's the point of the product. Don't add anything to your public card that you don't want publicly visible.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and vCard data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and personal data deleted, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL TO BE CONFIRMED] — this is currently a manual, request-based process rather than a self-service option in the product.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including password hashing and encrypted storage of sensitive payment-gateway credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We don't currently use tracking or advertising cookies. [CONFIRM — ADD A COOKIE-CONSENT NOTICE IF ANALYTICS/ADVERTISING COOKIES ARE EVER ADDED.]
9. Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain uses of it. Contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL TO BE CONFIRMED] to exercise these rights.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
11. Contact
